Hey girls! Your trainer Stef here with a program I am SO excited to share with you! Today we kick off the 7 Day Abs program. It features one week of core exercises, so you get that oh-so-good burn straight to your middle. Consider it the ultimate abs challenge, which you can do anywhere and anytime, thanks to the move-based routines!
What I love about this program — and what makes it stand out from other ab challenges — is that it doesn’t focus solely on crunches or planks or even straight-up abs-only moves (though you will DEF see those)! 7 Day Abs also helps you become an all-around stronger athlete through a combination of routines that target your core from all angles, while incorporating legs, booty, and arms into the schedule, too. You’ll also work through multiple training techniques, from strength to HIIT to yoga flows, which means it keeps you engaged and ready for action.

How do I join the program?
You can find the 7 Day Abs program in your Tone It Up app. Simply go to the “Workouts” screen and you’ll see 7 Day Abs in the top carousel, listed under “Fitness Programs.” Click on it, then tap “Join This Program,” and you’re in! Already doing another program? Just go ahead and join 7 Day Abs and it’ll be waiting in your queue when you’re ready!
Who is leading this program?
That would be me, Stef Corgel! I am one of the Tone It Up trainers, specializing in strength, HIIT, running, recovery, and more. As a certified strength and conditioning coach, I love helping women find their strength and I hope I inspire you to do just that. I absolutely love the TIU community — we’re always in this sweat together! When should I start the program?
Anytime! The program lasts just one week, so press start whenever you want to get strong straight to your center. Feel free to run through it multiple times too! There’s nothing like a little extra ab work, amiright?
How do I follow along with the program?
As soon as you hit that “Join this Program” button, 7 Day Abs gets added to the “My Program” section of the app. In that section, you’ll see a list of the workouts for the week. Choose the top workout for day 1, follow the sequence, and finish with the last one on day 7. Simple as that, babe!
What types of workouts can I expect?
Well, for starters, you get lots of ab workouts! But you will also see tons of variety in terms of the exercises you’re doing. We blend in full-body strength, HIIT, and yoga, too. You can do each move-based routine at home, at the gym, or wherever you’re traveling. Each one lasts just 30 minutes or less, so squeeze ‘em in when you can! A few workouts to look forward to:

How many days a week should I work out?
We’ve got 7 workouts lined up for you for each day of the week! But you do you babe! If you decide you need a rest break one day, that’s totally cool. Pick back up when you’re feeling ready. It’s YOUR program and we want you to feel good about yourself!
What equipment do I need?
For this program, you’ll need a set of dumbbells and a kettlebell. Many of the workouts feature your body weight only, but we do pick up those weights too. Don’t have a kettlebell? You can always sub in a dumbbell instead. And if you don’t have any weights, don’t worry! You’ll still feel the burn using just your body to perform each move.
Is the program abs only?
Nope! While your core is at the center of each workout, you’ll also mix in cardio moves and exercises that strengthen your upper and lower body. It’s a well-rounded program that will definitely tighten and tone your abs, but also improve your total-body strength and conditioning. Let’s call it an all-in-one fitness program, with a core concentration.
How can I cast the workouts on a larger screen?
It’s easy! For a larger screen you can:
- Tap the full screen icon that appears on the bottom right of your video to switch to full screen mode!
- Use the “cast” button to cast your workouts to Google Chromecast devices
- Mirror your phone with an AppleTV
How do I check in with the team?

Is there a meal plan?
You know it! Nutrition is always key to your wellness plan. Check out the 7 Day Slimdown Meal Plan in the “Nutrition” section of your app — it pairs perfectly with this program! You also have the option to mix and match any of the recipes you find in that “Nutrition” section.
What can I expect in the meal plan?
You get one week’s worth of meals and snack recipes, plus a grocery list, tips for making the most of the plan, and a guide for achieving your goals! For each day of the week, you’ll see three meals, including scrambles, salads, and burgers, plus two snacks like muffins and chia seed pudding.
