4 Tips To Plan For a Healthy Week
Make a list...
Your brain is juggling a lot of personal and work to-dos — projects to complete, projects to keep in mind for later, people to call, household errands, personal appointments, self-care duties, etc. First, take a deep breath and know you got this! Then start with a simple brain dump. Grab a blank sheet of paper (or open a new note in your phone) and write down every single thing you can think of that you need to do for the week. Just let it flow and get it out there.
And then organize it
Once you have your brain dump list, you can begin to organize it. Start by prioritizing the three most important priorities of your week and put those at the very top. For these, think “big picture” goals you want to achieve. Then, you can organize the smaller tasks either in order of importance or by categories (health, household, work, etc.).
When you write everything down it may seem overwhelming at first, but you’ll notice that a lot of these tasks are super quick and much more manageable when you tackle them one at a time. And it feels SO good to check them off as you go!
Mark your cal
Take note of the major priorities on your list and determine when they need to be completed. Schedule them on your calendar (either in your phone, in your planner, or both). Even self-care tasks like taking a bath or stretching can go in your calendar so you really treat them like an appointment — they are just as important! Set reminders on your phone so you don’t forget.
Schedule your workouts
Remember to add your workouts to the calendar, too! Check out your TIU app and the weekly schedule on IG every Sunday. Then determine the best days and times in your schedule to fit in your TIU workouts. Will you wake up a little earlier and do a morning workout? Maybe a lunch-time power hour or an evening dumbbell date? Locking it into your calendar will help hold you accountable 💪
