25 Small Ways To Show Yourself Love Today

One of our TIU2021 themes this week is self-love ♥️  We want to make sure you’re showing yourself the love and care you deserve — because you’re truly worthy of it! You build self-love by practicing it through big and small acts every day. 

Here are 25 simple ways to show your body, mind, and spirit love! Pick one or two and give it a try today. Remember, loving yourself allows you to love others even more deeply. We LOVE you!

* Move your body with your favorite TIU app workout.

* Wake up a little earlier and have a slow morning.

 

* Start your day with a meditation.

 

* Savor your morning coffee or tea. 

* Journal 5 things you love and appreciate about yourself. 

 

* Make yourself your favorite nourishing meal or smoothie.  

* Take 5-10 extra minutes to stretch or foam roll.

* Light your favorite candles. 

* Cozy up with a book. 

 

* Set up a phone date with a girlfriend. 

* Blast a feel-good playlist and have a dance party.  

* Look at yourself in the mirror and smile at the beautiful, strong girl you see. :) 

* Take breaks when you need them (without guilt or judgement!).

* Recite self-love affirmations out loud. (One of our favorites: “I am worthy of unconditional love.”) 

 

* Take a bubble bath or do a face mask. 

* Disconnect from your phone for an hour. 

* Take a walk outside in nature. 

* Do something fun and creative (how about painting, drawing, or a home decor project?). 

* Whip up your fave TIU-approved dessert. 

* Snuggle your family or pets. 

* Watch your fave rom-com with some popcorn or dark chocolate. 

* Go to bed an hour earlier.  

* Say “no” to something that doesn’t serve you.

* Say “yes” to something new and exciting. 

 

* Tell yourself you’re worth it — because you are!
