Classic Hot Cocoa Recipe
Makes 2 servings
INGREDIENTS
- 1 scoop Tone It Up Hot Cocoa Collagen
- 1 - 2 Tbsp. monk fruit sweetener (depending on how sweet you like it!)
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups your favorite nut milk
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
- Whisk together the cocoa, sweetener, salt, and about 2 Tbsp. nut milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until cocoa and monk fruit sweetener are dissolved.
- Whisk in the rest of the milk and heat it over medium heat, whisking occasionally, until it’s hot.
- Stir in the vanilla and serve.
Boozy Mint Hot Cocoa Recipe
Makes 2 servings
INGREDIENTS
- 1 scoop Tone It Up Hot Cocoa Collagen
- 2 Tbsp. mint chocolate chips
- ¾ cup coconut milk (from a carton, not a can)
- ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 oz. bourbon whiskey per serving
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt chocolate chips, coconut milk, and 1/4 cup water. Stir often so the chocolate chips don't stick to the pan.
- Turn the heat to medium and add Tone It Up Hot Cocoa Collagen and vanilla extract. Whisk for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour into mugs and add bourbon. Stir to combine. Cheers!
Spiced Cinnamon Cocoa Recipe
Makes 2 servings
INGREDIENTS
- 1 scoop Tone It Up Hot Cocoa Collagen
- 2 cups your favorite nut milk
- 2 pitted dates
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. cayenne
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients except the coconut oil to a blender and blend well.
- Pour the mixture into a small saucepan. Add the coconut oil and heat on medium-low until very warm and the coconut oil has melted.
- Pour into mugs and enjoy!
