Tone It Up Weekly Workout Schedule

We've seen a lot of questions about how to participate in Tone It Up lifestyle if your schedule doesn't always look like a regular 9-5. You know we've got you, boo! No matter what your hours look like, follow these tips to make the lifestyle work for you!

Wrangle your girls, it's time to get your Booty Call on!

Start With M1

Set your meals to your sleep schedule! If you work the night shift, it may feel odd having brekky while your buds are enjoying dinner, but remember, this is the start to your day! Your M1-M5 are designed based on the hours your body is awake and active.

Make sure to adjust your fitness regime to your sleep schedule, too. Getting your sweat on right when your body wakes up for the day sets your metabolism up for a full day (or night!) of calorie burnin'. Hop out of bed, and take a walk with your coffee! Instead of the sunrise, maybe you'll catch the sunset. Or if you're hitting the gym or a class during the middle of the day, you'll miss the 7AM crowds!

Chill On the Caffeine

If the suns down during your "day," staying energetic may be difficult. Our bodies naturally get energy from light, and tend to get tired when it's dark. If you can, stay in well lit and bright spaces. Limit coffee to your first six hours of being awake in order to not disrupt your sleep when it's time to shut down later. If you're feeling like you need a pick-me-up after that window of time, drink some water or a green juice. You'll feel energized without the java! Drinking coffee within six hours of hitting the sheets causes disrupted sleep. Nothing beats fatigue like a full 7-8 hours of sleep, so do anything you can to set yourself up for a solid slumber and wake up feeling well-rested!

Keep It #TIUApproved

Certain schedules can limit healthy options for snacks and meals on-the-go. More than ever, it's important to pack healthy snacks and meal prep. Stick to your Nutrition Plan guidelines, and don't leave your meals up to convenience. This is the MOST important thing you can do to stick to your nutrition goals!!

No matter your schedule, day, or career, always listen to your body and make it work for you!
