Hi babe! Hope you're having a beautiful week! I'm so grateful you've been joining me for the weekly meditations throughout the Love Your Body Series. I've loved creating them for you. Meditation has brought me so much positivity and balance and I hope it's doing the same for you! ✨

With all the hustlin' us TIU babes do, we too often forget to simply pause. As you're reading this right now...I want you to take a moment for YOU. Close your eyes and take a second to just breathe deeply. Release any negativity, judgment, or expectations that do not serve you. You are exactly where you need to be in your life. Trust that.

Today I wanted to share a couple thoughts on why a simple deep breath can do magic for your beautiful mind, body & soul! 💙💫

For Strength

Breathing techniques are essential in your workouts ~ breath helps us lower our blood pressure and brings oxygen and nutrients to those gorgeous and toned muscles! 💪Try to inhale when your muscles lengthen and exhale when you flex them! It's really easy to forget to breathe when the workout gets tough, but focusing on your breath helps you have better form in your workouts, maintain balance, and sculpt those abs!

For Meditation

Breathing is KEY for your meditations! It helps to keep you feelin' positive and decreases stress. By taking a second to pause, breathe, and reflect, you are then able to make clear decisions, think positively, and feel like the confident babe we know you are! Studies show that meditation and practicing your breath actually lower the stress hormone cortisol and relaxes your mind.✨

For Flexibility

Most of you know that Kat's first "line" to me was, "My you're flexible" 😂 So being flexible can actually help you meet new girlfriends ;) It also increases your range of motion and helps send nutrients to your beautiful body. This is why you take a really big deep inhale & exhale when holding a position like warrior 👆​ in Yoga. It warms up your body and allows you to hold the position for longer and in a deeper stretch. 🙏​

For Cleansing

Did you know...every single time you take a breath you're literally releasing toxins from your body?! It's basically a built-in detox! 🙌 When you inhale oxygen, it helps absorb vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. When you exhale, it cleanses your blood of toxins! Think of it as a fresh start every breath ~ out with the old, and in with the new! 💛

Remember to pause, take a deep breath, and find your center each and every day. Your mind will always believe what you tell it. Feed it strength, hope, and love. You have the strength and power to create the life that you want, to overcome any negativity, and to make all your dreams come true. You got this babe! 💖
