I never thought of myself as a particularly strong person. This year I learned that you never know how strong you are until you have to be. Due to the pandemic, I lost my job and had to navigate a cross country move, not to mention the stress of everything else in the world. Tone It Up became my daily source of sanity that helped me stay grounded, motivated, and gave me the physical and mental strength I needed to get things done. I love the TIU community because it makes me realize that you don’t have to be physically perfect to be strong, but strength is earned and it’s inside all of us when we need it most! 6lbs down, feeling stronger than ever, and happily settled into my new home with a new job. Thank you Tone It Up!

I let go of a lot of limiting beliefs about my body and health. I like exercise. I like getting up early. I like eating a variety of healthy foods. Before, I couldn’t walk upstairs without being out of breath or even do my hair without my arms getting tired. Now I can plank for over 60 seconds, do 2 chin-ups, 10 pushups and jog comfortably. I’ve lost almost 20 pounds and dropped my body fat from 32% to 16%. Without a doubt this is the most fun healthy lifestyle on the planet. I knew I would only keep exercising if I could make it enjoyable...If it wasn’t for the amazing, positive #TIUteam I probably would have fallen off the wagon, but instead I kept pulling inspiration from the community. Another big help was having my #tiuhusband and accountability partners cheering me on.

I learned so much about my inner strength and my will to not give up! The journey was not as I had imagined but I still accomplished my goals! It just goes to show you that there is more than one way to get the job done. That is what is so great about this program and nutrition plan...you can make it work for your schedule or lifestyle, it’s as flexible as you need it to be which is so important being a new mama. The app has made getting my workouts in when I can so much easier, all my “on demand” girls where you at?? Picking a workout that matches the amount of time I have and what my body needs is such a game changer!! I am not the fittest I’ve ever been but I’ve never feel stronger!

One day at a time, I started out doing TIU fitness videos with K&K & fell in love! Their energy & motivation made me truly believe I could do this! Then when I incorporated the nutrition plan I was blown away with how I could still enjoy the foods I like, but now know how to fuel my body in ways it needs.
Fast Forward to today, I have come to love fitness & absolutely adore every person I have crossed paths with through this fitness community as a whole. Who knew randomly stumbling into a dance class 2 years ago would lead me to now dancing 5 days a week + utilizing the #TIUapp 3-4 times a week 💃🏾

My entire mindset was centered around peace & taking it one day at a time. I wanted to be sure not to put a ton of pressure on myself. I wanted to enjoy myself while being the healthiest I could be. I made a commitment to myself and intended to keep it. I started doing workouts at 6am, my self esteem literally hit an all time high, and I feel so good. I have a renewed sense of peace and I remember that I am always connected to this peace no matter what is going on around me.

Down almost 50 lbs. Down 6 dress sizes. The biggest difference is in my confidence, love for myself, and genuine happiness.
