Tone It Up 6:40 was designed to help you evolve into your highest self. It’s the perfect program for busy boss babes and mamas who have a lot going on. As women, we so often put everyone else’s needs before our own. During the 6 weeks of the program, you’ll commit to prioritizing YOUR wellness and caring for YOUR body.   

The idea? Take care of yourself first thing in the morning so you can support everyone around you later. For a lot of us, if we don’t get our work outs in first thing (before the house wakes up and work starts), they just don’t happen. Join the 6am club and get your workout done by 6:40am so you can take on the day! This program is 6 weeks long, with 40 minute workouts that will have you feeling stronger, more confident, and more powerful than ever.

Your 6:40 meal plan is 6 weeks of healthy recipes, meal-by-meal guides, and grocery lists to keep you organized. This program allows more flexibility than ever! You’ll have 3 main meals, plus up to 3 snacks and treats per day. I found this works really well for a busy schedule and it keeps you energized and your metabolism revived.

In this program, you’ll be aiming for 6 workouts per week and each workout is 40 minutes. They’re designed for a busy lifestyle, so you’ll get maximum metabolism boosting and toning results in a short amount of time. It’s all about strength and toning! You’ll get a variety of workouts including:

I never thought of myself as a particularly strong person. This year I learned that you never know how strong you are until you have to be. Due to the pandemic, I lost my job and had to navigate a cross country move, not to mention the stress of everything else in the world. Tone It Up became my daily source of sanity that helped me stay grounded, motivated, and gave me the physical and mental strength I needed to get things done. I love the TIU community because it makes me realize that you don’t have to be physically perfect to be strong, but strength is earned and it’s inside all of us when we need it most! 6lbs down, feeling stronger than ever, and happily settled into my new home with a new job. I let go of a lot of limiting beliefs about my body and health. I like exercise. I like getting up early. I like eating a variety of healthy foods. Before, I couldn’t walk upstairs without being out of breath or even do my hair without my arms getting tired. Now I can plank for over 60 seconds, do 2 chin-ups, 10 pushups and jog comfortably. I’ve lost almost 20 pounds and dropped my body fat from 32% to 16%. Without a doubt this is the most fun healthy lifestyle on the planet. I knew I would only keep exercising if I could make it enjoyable...If it wasn’t for the amazing, positive #TIUteam I probably would have fallen off the wagon, but instead I kept pulling inspiration from the community. Another big help was having my #tiuhusband and accountability partners cheering me on.

Then when I incorporated the nutrition plan I was blown away with how I could still enjoy the foods I like, but now know how to fuel my body in ways it needs.

Fast Forward to today, I have come to love fitness & absolutely adore every person I have crossed paths with through this fitness community as a whole. Who knew randomly stumbling into a dance class 2 years ago would lead me to now dancing 5 days a week + utilizing the #TIUapp 3-4 times a week 💃🏾

My entire mindset was centered around peace & taking it one day at a time. I wanted to be sure not to put a ton of pressure on myself. I wanted to enjoy myself while being the healthiest I could be. I made a commitment to myself and intended to keep it. I started doing workouts at 6am, my self esteem literally hit an all time high, and I feel so good. I have a renewed sense of peace and I remember that I am always connected to this peace no matter what is going on around me.

You can find your Tone It Up 6:40 program in the Tone It Up app. Simply go to the “Workouts” screen and you’ll find your 6:40 program in the top carousel called “Programs”. Tap “join” and you’re in! If you’re already on a program, add 6:40 to your queue so it’s waiting for you. See ya in there!

Start anytime you want! The program is 6 weeks long. We’re kicking it off May 17th and it’ll be waiting in the app for you whenever you’re ready.
Once you’re signed up for the program, it’s all laid out for you in the “My Program” section of your app. Each week, you’ll get a weekly schedule of workouts to follow. Your program is designed for you to start at the top and work your way down. You can also feel free to mix it up and do whichever workout works best for you each day.
You’ll get the perfect mix of strength, cardio, yoga sculpt, gentle stretching, and more. We’ll hit every body part, too — total body, abs, arms, legs, and of course, a whole lot of booty!
This program includes 6 workouts per week designed to get you total body results. And don’t worry, yoga and stretching are included each week, plus a true rest day, so your body gets the recovery it deserves. If you’re feeling sore and need an extra rest day, take it! You can also find more recovery routines in the Stretching + Foam Rolling sections On Demand in your app. Remember, this is YOUR program, and you can customize it for you!
For this program, you’ll need dumbbells (I recommend a light, medium, and heavy set), a booty band and/or hip band, ankle weights, and a yoga mat. A barbell is optional to level up your daily moves on leg day! You can grab your Tone It Up 6:40 bundle here, or pick up everything you need at Target! And if you don’t have all the equipment, don’t sweat it! You can still do the Tone It Up 6:40 program with whatever you have ~ the equipment is a great way to level up your results!
Your program includes cardio and HIIT workouts to get your metabolism revving and feeling your best! You’ll also see a few sunset walks one the schedule — this is one of my favorite ways to connect with nature or a loved one after a long day. If you’re craving more cardio, go for it! Check out the running and indoor cycling workouts On Demand. Advanced babes can aim for 2-3 cardio sessions per week.

Yes, we’re all about customization! The meal-by-meal guides are just suggestions for you. Do what works for YOU and your lifestyle! Feel free to swap in other recipes from the plan or ToneItUp.com. You’re still “on the plan” as long as you’re following the Nutrition Guidelines laid out in your meal plan.
